The Leonids. Mind you I killed my best lens doing this. Well, it isn't exactly dead but it's a veteran now

Strong gust of wind knocked over my tripod, right after the shutter finished the shot. I caught one spectacular meteor, that died hitting the atmosphere as you can see from the wiggling near the gas ball.

I thought it looked pretty awesome!
I'm still learning editing and I'm not sure how to get the noise out of the photo, if you've any recommendations feel free to shout out.

Try using a smaller ISO level for less noise.

I heard they were getting 70-90 meteors an hour

Sorry about the lens. Nice shot though! Was too cloudy here for any good shots.. so instead I just roamed around taking photos of the fog.

Ah, I missed it last month. Sucks it was so cloudy here last night. I did see a few shoot across the sky though. One so bright, I thought the flash was lightning! I had my shutter open during it, but sadly my camera wasn't facing that direction. ack!

Yeah, I uploaded that one so far. My throw a few more up later on.
